Based in Cambridge, MA, John Rubin Productions, Inc. (JRP) started in October 2002. JRP's focus is documentary television production in science, natural history, and history.

John Rubin is president of JRP and producer/executive producer. Rubin is a Peabody and Emmy Award-winning filmmaker who turned to documentaries after completing his Ph.D. in cognitive science at MIT.
